A GARDEN WITH HISTORY – PARC SAMÀ

Parc Samà is much more than a park; it is a garden, a forest, an orchard, a lake, a palace — an oasis of nature. Fourteen hectares filled with history, architecture, flora and fauna, located very close to Cambrils.

It was built in 1881 as a summer residence for the Marquis of Marianao, Salvador Samà i Torrents, a family of “indianos” with great political, economic, social and cultural influence. Memories of their travels around the world are reflected in the design, architecture, vegetation and animal species found throughout the park. Its style is romantic and symbolic, with touches of modernism.

The residence was passed down through the family to different owners, each contributing their own spirit while always preserving the essence of the park.

Today, Parc Samà is open to the public. It is a place to wander and enjoy each of its spaces: walk around the lake, explore the lavender fields, observe the birds, feed the deer — an endless array of colors to discover.

The perfect plan for children, families or couples: the magic of nature within reach.

It offers spacious picnic areas and free parking.

Guided tours are available, and the park also hosts events such as weddings, communions and corporate meetings.
